Ways CelluhDoulaServices LLC can hold your family

Six gentle, deeply practical services written like chapters of a single story. Every season of early family life has a hand to call on, from the first prenatal visit to the last quiet overnight feed.

1 · Birth Doula Support

Your birth doula becomes a calm, constant companion from the earliest surges until your baby is warm against you. We begin with one or two prenatal meetings where we learn your history, your hopes and your fears, and we craft a comfort plan written in plain words.

During labor we offer slow breathing, effective position changes, counter pressure and massage, gentle encouragement and a clear, steady voice among the flurry of a delivery room. We stay until breastfeeding is settled and the first tender hours have passed. No two births are alike, and neither are our comfort bags of tricks, because your doula reads the room and responds to what is truly needed rather than to a script.

Because we are unaffiliated with any hospital, our one loyalty is to you. We help you ask good questions, understand what is offered and decide freely, while keeping every professional caregiver in the room informed of your wishes.

2 · Postpartum Home Care

The fourth trimester is a season of healing, feeding, weeping, wonder and late-night pacing. Our postpartum doulas come to your home during the day to lighten the load with warm hands and patient conversation.

We help with newborn basics like swaddling, bathing, diapering and soothing. We bring simple meal ideas, offer gentle company, tidy the feeding station and watch over baby so a weary parent can shower, eat or sleep in honest stretches. For those who have given birth we offer respectful check-ins on recovery, emotional wellbeing and comfortable rest.

Every home visit is shaped around your real day. Some families want four quiet hours of basic help each afternoon; others want help as far as postpartum depression screening prompts, non judgmental listening and a hand to guide them toward a trusted provider.

3 · Lactation Guidance

Feeding a newborn often looks nothing like the lovely brochures. Latch struggles, soreness, doubts about supply and the painful choices that follow all have a place in a truthful conversation. Our lactation guidance is gentle, evidence based and completely centered on your goals, whether that means breastfeeding, chestfeeding, pumping or a calm mix that protects your mental health.

In an early home visit we look at latch, positioning, mouth structure and weight patterns, and we take a wide view of feeding that honors survival and joy together. We can help wean, build a pumping schedule, address clogged ducts or simply sit while a tearful parent feeds, because many a milk letdown improves the moment a fearful heart feels safe.

4 · Childbirth Education Classes

Knowledge takes the sharp edge off fear. Our small childbirth classes are unhurried, honest and taught in the warm tone of a good friend who also happens to know the research cold.

You will learn the real stages of labor, when to call your doula and your provider, comfort measures partners can give, common interventions and how to make choices under pressure, plus breathing and relaxation tools that carry you through the hardest minutes. Classes are offered in person at our Kaysville home and online for families far away. Partners attend because birth and early parenting are done together.

Beyond a single labor, our education follows families into the fourth trimester with practical newborn care topics, expectations for recovery, and gentle signs to watch after birth so that real support begins before a small worry ever becomes a big one.

5 · Newborn Care Nights

Sleep is the rarest currency in a brand new house. For parents running on fumes, newborn care nights are a genuine tether. One of our doulas arrives in the evening, cares for baby through the overnight stretches, and leaves a rested household in the morning.

During the night we manage feeds however you have them planned, bring baby to your side for breastfeeding or warm a bottle if that is your arrangement, change diapers, resettle, dream-feed and quietly track patterns. We will iron out stubborn witching-hour routines and establish a calm, repeatable bedtime so that parents begin to trust the night again.

You stay reachable but genuinely off duty; many a parent has slept six straight hours thanks to a patient doula with a full bladder of tea. Nights can be booked as a single respite or on a weekly rhythm that suits your shift as working parents.

6 · Family Wellness Visits

Care that only begins with a baby soon grows toward the whole household. Family wellness visits are gentle, in home sessions that check on everyone, because a thriving newborn lives inside a thriving family.

We debrief the birth story, talk through how big siblings are adjusting, check on the partner who might be hiding exhaustion of their own and map the weeks ahead as a return to work, holidays or travel approach. We also offer resources, small exercises and referrals, always spelled out in an easy language you can keep.

Many families schedule these visits around the two week and six week marks, at weaning, or whenever the ground under the household has begun to shift again. Call when the need is small; a doula can often help it stay that way.
